The Manitoba Electrical League (MEL) with its origins dating back to the 1950s is a not for profit industry association.  The MEL serves as the conduit through which various sectors of the electrical industry exchange information, ideas, knowledge and programs that benefit the industry and the users of electricity.

Policy is set by a volunteer Board of Directors, and day  to day management is handled by a small, dedicated staff.

The valuable work of the Manitoba Electrical League includes education and training, networking, marketing programs and intra-industry liaison. One of the M.E.L.'s most important functions is charitable fund raising for:
The Fireman's Burn Fund
CancerCare Manitoba
Hungry for Change (an elec trical industry initiative for Canadian Feed The Children)

If you aren't already a member we hope you'll give some thought to becoming one.

Rob Ruys
President
