The 2009 Canadian Electrical Code Part I C22.1-09, 21st
Edition, has been adopted by the Province of Manitoba under Regulation 73/2009 of the Manitoba Hydro Act as "The Manitoba
Electrical Code 10th Edition June, 2009"
All electrical permit applications received by Manitoba Hydro
on or after June 1, 2009 will be required to meet the requirements of the 2009 Manitoba Electrical Code.
The 2009 Manitoba Electrical Code, 10th Edition is available

The 2009 Canadian
Electrical Code, Part I, C22.1-09, 21st Edition has been adopted by City of Winnipeg Electrical By-law No. 74/2009 and will
come into effect on May 1, 2009.
All permit
applications received by the City of Winnipeg on or after May 1, 2009 must meet the requirements of the new By-law.
