NOTICE

Effective June 1, 2009

The  2009 Canadian Electrical Code Part I C22.1-09, 21st Edition, has been adopted by the Province of Manitoba under Regulation 73/2009 of the Manitoba Hydro Act as "The Manitoba Electrical Code 10th Edition June, 2009" 

All electrical permit applications received by Manitoba Hydro on or after June 1, 2009 will be required to meet the requirements of the 2009 Manitoba Electrical Code.


The 2009 Manitoba Electrical Code, 10th Edition is available for free download here (see below)

and will be also available for free download from the Manitoba Hydro web site at  www.hydro.mb.ca/ shortly.

NOTICE

Effective May 1, 2009


The 2009 Canadian Electrical Code, Part I, C22.1-09, 21st Edition has been adopted by City of Winnipeg Electrical By-law No. 74/2009 and will come into effect on May 1, 2009.

All permit applications received by the City of Winnipeg on or after May 1, 2009 must meet the requirements of the new By-law.

The new Winnipeg Electrical By-law will be available for free download from the "Related By-laws" bubble on the City of Winnipeg Electrical Info Centre at

www.winnipeg.ca/electrical_info.stm or for purchase in the Zoning and Permits office at Unit 31 - 30 Fort Street shortly.
